Final performance test of the 2 stage compressor for Holborn Refinery in Hamburg by FIMA - first Green Diesel project in Europe. www.fima.de For similar project inquiry from South East Asia, please do contact us

Contact us for inquiry at alex.chen@frontier-integrator.com One of the most important machines in an LNG import terminal is one most people have never heard of. The Return Gas Blower (RGB). As LNG import terminals expand worldwide to strengthen energy security, LNG carriers regularly unload cargo into large storage tanks. During this process, vapor displaced from the terminal tanks must be returned safely to the ship to maintain tank pressure and allow continuous unloading. That’s the job of the RGB: moving large volumes of low-pressure boil-off gas between the terminal and the LNG carrier. It’s a relatively low pressure ratio application — but the design philosophy behind the equipment can vary widely. When developing our RGB solution, we asked a simple question: What if the application simply doesn’t require the complexity often seen in traditional turbomachinery? The result is a design focused on simplicity: • Direct drive — no gearbox • No external lube oil system • VFD speed control instead of mechanical throttling Fewer systems. Fewer rotating components. Less complexity. Sometimes the most elegant engineering solutions are the ones where you step back and realize: nothing more is needed.

FIMA Maschinenbau GmbH Recycle Gas Compressors Polypropylene Application | Oil Refinery When a leading polypropylene producer needed in total six four high-performance recycle gas compressors for a demanding refinery environment, they turned to FIMA. These machines are built for one of the most critical loops in petrochemical processing — where reliability, precision, and safety are non-negotiable. Technical Highlights: Volume Flow: 830 m³/h Pressure Difference: 10.55 bar Speed: 16,658 rpm Drive Power: 355 kW Standard: API 617 Part 3 Sealing: Tandem Dry Gas Seal The tandem dry gas seal configuration ensures zero process gas leakage to atmosphere — a critical requirement in polypropylene recycling loops where gas containment directly impacts both safety and process efficiency. API 617 compliance guarantees the highest level of engineering integrity for turbomachinery in petroleum, chemical, and gas industry service. Two units with six compressors. One standard. Zero compromise.

🌎 Next Turbo Technologies contributing to one of the most modern wastewater treatment plants in the world In the district of São Paulo – Parque Novo Mundo, a next-generation wastewater treatment plant is currently being upgraded as part of the environmental recovery of the Tietê river basin. Once completed, the facility will serve approximately 2.4 million population equivalent (PE), positioning it among the most advanced large-scale WWTPs globally. We are proud to contribute to this landmark project together with our partner Planalto Group, supporting Sabesp, the water and sanitation company serving the metropolitan region of São Paulo. The aeration system combines both new and existing assets into a unified process-driven architecture: 🔹 4 × GTH-T50 single-stage centrifugal turbocompressors 🔹 Integration with 2 existing KA-66 turbocompressors 🔹 Total airflow of the GTH-T50: < 200,000 m³/h 🔹 Differential pressure: 0.7 bar 🔹 Total installed power: < 6.5 MW 🔹 Fully integrated into an advanced process control strategy At this scale, aeration is not just air supply, it becomes a dynamic and responsive biological control tool. The system is designed to continuously adapt airflow to real-time process demand. Within this framework, our GTH units operate as an active control element, ensuring: • Wide and stable operating range • High efficiency throughout the whole operating range • High turndown capability without the need for VFD • Airflow regulation through variable diffuser vanes • Fast response to load variations • Reliable operation with high-voltage motors This hybrid configuration — combining new and existing turbomachinery — reflects a key evolution in large-scale wastewater treatment: integration, flexibility, and data-driven operation. We are proud to support one of the most ambitious environmental infrastructure projects in South America.

News from our Principal - FIMA Maschinenbau GmbH. Welcome to contact us for inquiry from South East Asia region. www.frontier-integrator.com Every ton of fertilizer starts long before it reaches the field 🌱. Behind global food production is heavy industry — sulphuric acid plants, phosphate processing, and the turbomachinery that keeps them running 24/7. FIMA recently contributed to a major fertilizer complex by supplying the rotating heart of the Sulphuric Acid Plant (SAP). Two each high-performance main air blowers & auxiliary blowers: 🌀 Main Air Blowers • 3,725 kW motor power each • Volume flow: 222.000 m³/h • pressure rise: 1,509 • Impeller diameter: 1,7 m • Stainless steel, 3D milled impellers for peak efficiency and reliability • Hydrodynamic bearings for stable, long-life operation • In-house designed and fabricated lubrication oil systems 🌀 Auxiliary Blowers • 920 kW motor power each • Volume flow: 120.000 m³/h • Impeller diameter: 1,4 m Main Air Blowers are mission-critical machines. Their reliability and efficiency directly influence plant availability and ultimately fertilizer output. From engineering and detailed design through procurement, manufacturing, testing, and documentation, the full scope was executed within 11 months and handed over on schedule following successful performance tests. Industrial turbomachinery may not be visible in the final product, but it plays a quiet, essential role in feeding a growing world. For Lucas Baldo, who was responsible for the project on the sales side, it is again a successful project due to great FIMA teamwork. Proud to see another strong reference for FIMA in the fertilizer sector.
